A giant rendition of Leonardo Da Vinci’s Mona Lisa has been installed on Clapham Common in London.
The canvas is 85 times bigger than the original portrait which hangs in the Louvre, Paris.
The giant mosaic launches a search for the UK’s next Portrait Artist of the Year, hosted by Joan Bakewell and Frank Skinner.
The artwork was created from 84 individual self-portraits submitted by the shortlisted entrants to the competition.
It is perched on an easel measuring a staggering 14 metres high – double the height of an average two-storey house. Via ITN
