Elijah Wood plays an insane serial killer in this upcoming horror thriller called Maniac. The movie was directed by Franck Khalfoun from a script written by Alex Aja and Gregory Levasseur. From what we heard and saw in the trailer it’s all good too good actually, Film is shot from the point of view of the serial killer and Elijah Wood as a serial killer is another thing to talk about ! Is he really up for the role of a Serial Killer ? The film is a remake of William Lustig’s 1980 cult film.

Just when the streets seemed safe, a serial killer with a fetish for scalps is back and on the hunt. Frank is the withdrawn owner of a mannequin store, but his life changes when young artist Anna appears asking for his help with her new exhibition. As their friendship develops and Frank’s obsession escalates, it becomes clear that she has unleashed a long-repressed compulsion to stalk and kill.
