Marcia Gay Harden joins Fifty Shades of Grey Cast

Production us under-way in  Vancouver, the much anticipated big screen version of E L James’ Fifty Shades of Grey has just added Marcia Gay Harden to its cast. The Hollywood Reporter brings word she’ll play Christian Grey’s adoptive mother, Dr. Grace Trevelyan Grey opposite Jamie Dornan, Dakota Johnson, Jennifer Ehle, Luke Grimes, Victor Rasuk, Eloise Mumford, Max Martini and Rita Ora.

The film is based on the first book in the trilogy which follows the relationship of 27-year-old billionaire Christian Grey and college student Anastasia Steele. Subsequent novels in the series, “Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shades Freed” explore the couple’s deepening relationship.
